Haley was a “leftover” from The Walk for the Underdog held every spring in Los Angeles. The folks from one of LA County Shelters brought Haley to try and find her a new home. Sadly, no one adopted Haley so MM&M scooped her into our rescue. We put her with one of our favorite foster homes. Jason and Sean had 3 other girl dogs in their adorable pack. Haley fit in so well that we experienced “foster failure” with Sean and Jason as they could not let Haley go to another home. (We love this!) The great new is that Jason and Sean still foster and are very much a part of our rescue. (We love this even more!) Yay for Haley!
These gorgeous girls Jade and Jasmine were also “leftovers” from a very fun event we participate in called The Race for Rescue. Jade and Jasmine were being show by the folks of the North Central, one of LA’s 6 City Shelters. They did not get adopted, so MM&M scooped them into our rescue. Luckily, a big cat lover and friend of MM&M told us her sister wanted two kittens. We got very excited as we knew moving into this home would be kitty paradise for these girls. Now they are living large and enjoying the finer things in life. Yay for Jade and Jasmine! |
