Thank you for choosing adoption as your first option when considering an animal companion for your family. I have volunteered in the LA animal rescue community for many years. In 2005, I figured, "Hey, why not try and start my own?" Some folks thought I was crazy. But I had this dream that my organization would be a wee bit different. My goal was to try and partner with other rescue groups and individual rescuers. By working together and effectively communicating, we could find more animals loving, new forever homes. I also wanted to place all the animals within our rescue into foster homes. By living in homes versus kennels and cages, we can tell you so much more about each mutt or meow that we pull from our overcrowded city shelters. Fostering an animal is one of the most noble acts you can do in the animal rescue world. You open up your heart and your home to an animal in need. You also save it from a very uncertain, many times unfortunate future. My hope is that your journey through this website will inspire you to spread the "adoption option" message.
Yeah, it's a big dream.
But I believe you either dream big or go home.
